Use a paper strip, soft measuring tape, pen, and ruler. Each step below includes a clear hand-drawn style illustration to help you measure correctly.

Step 1Prepare Your Tools
Prepare a thin paper strip or a soft measuring tape. You will also need a pen and a ruler with millimeter marks.

Step 2Wrap Around Your Finger
Wrap the paper strip around the finger where you plan to wear the ring. Keep it close to the skin, but not tight.
Measure the exact finger you will wear the ring on
Keep the strip straight and level
It should feel snug, not squeezed

Step 3Mark and Measure
Mark the point where the strip overlaps. Lay the strip flat and measure the length in millimeters.

Important Measuring Tips
These tips help reduce measurement errors and make the final ring size more comfortable for daily wear.
Measure 2–3 times. Repeat the same measuring process and use the average result for better accuracy.
Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are usually closer to their normal daily size after daily activity.
Avoid cold hands. Do not measure when your hands are very cold, because fingers may temporarily become smaller.
Check your knuckle. If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, make sure the ring can pass over it comfortably.
